Follow your passion with relentless energy and find fulfillment and success in doing what you love!! The idea of Extravagems arose from a personal pursuit of my passion. I have been crafting jewelry since March of 2001, when I took my first jewelry making course. Since then, I've become rather absorbed in this joyous hobby, surrounding myself in gorgeous semiprecious stones, crystals, and freshwater pearls. I finished my Counseling Masters in May of 2005, and after spending three years working in Career Development, I came to learn that we are all most effective when we pursue our true passions in life. After a bit of introspection, I came the revelation that the only activity that I enjoy as much as creating jewelry is teaching others the craft. Extravagems arose out of a passion for teaching others and crafting jewels.
Jewelry making has provided me such serenity, as well as an avenue to express myself creatively, over the past few years. I hope that your work with Extravagems will bring you the same means to express your own unique style.
